What will michael moore do next

We are also deliberately kept ignorant about the rest of the world and how much better many countries treat their citizens - since our school systems pretend that most of the world outside of Mexico, Canada and a few large countries in Europe and Asia - simply doesn't exist.

It outrageous. We are such fools! I'm an extremely well-informed person and I didn't even know about half of what Michael Moore mentioned in his film! I can only imagine all the dunderheads out there who have never even heard the names of some of the countries mentioned in Where To Invade Next!

Renewable energy has long been portrayed as expensive and unreliably intermittent by oil and gas companies and their lobby groups, which have spent several decades questioning the veracity of climate science and undermining efforts to radically reduce planet-heating emissions.

In fact, the technology used for wind and solar energy has improved markedly in recent years, while the costs have plummeted. While electric cars often require fossil fuel-generated energy to produce them and provide the electricity to fuel them, research has shown they still emit less greenhouse gas and air pollutants over their lifetime than a standard petrol or diesel car. Generating all power from renewables will take significant upgrades of grid infrastructure and storage but several researchers have declared the goal feasible , most likely with carbon-capture technology for remaining fossil fuel plants.

Scientists say the world must reach net zero emissions by to head off disastrous global heating, which would likely spur worsening storms, heatwaves, sea level rise and societal unrest.

Anything can happen. There have yet to be any real indications that the Democrats are plotting to remove Biden from the top of the ticket, but speculation has been rampant online.

New York governor Andrew Cuomo has been a popular choice as a potential replacement, but Moore floated California governor Gavin Newsom as another possibility. They changed the debate rules to let [Michael] Bloomberg in. Democratic socialism means everyone has a seat at the table, and everybody gets a slice of the pie. Pure and simple.

What American is not for that? The emphasis should be more on the Democratic part than the socialism part so people would understand. A half hour into our conversation, Moore suddenly paused midsentence. The 7 p. Participation in the nightly ritual is still robust in his Upper West Side neighborhood. But even as he closes in on his 10th full week cooped up inside, Moore has not succumbed to ennui.

At 66, Moore is arguably as prolific as he ever has been. He launched his own podcast in December, a talk show called Rumble in which he interviews politicians and entertainers alike. Fortuitously, he chose to build the studio in the guest bedroom of his apartment rather than buy new space in Manhattan, allowing production to continue without a hitch during his time in quarantine. The experience has been a thrill for Moore, taking him back to his days as a young disc jockey at a local rock station in Michigan, where he hosted a show called Radio Free Flint.

Emboldened by its success—during our phone call, according to Moore, Rumble hit its 10 millionth download—he has quietly been interviewing and auditioning others to host new programs to form a podcast network, a more subversive analog to Crooked Media, the liberal juggernaut launched by ex-Obama aides.
